Many of my own mods will already work with all versions from version 3.2 upwards. and infact those that do come with separate instructions for each version of phpLD.

There are significant code differences between the 3.3 and 4.1 versions of phpLD and most mods that were written when 3.3 was current will not on 4.1 work without code changes. Some require only minor changes while others require full rewrites.

Any decent mod developer will state what versions their mods are compatible with.

All of the above is true for templates also.
