Bug with url rewrite

When i set url rewrite to yes and then browse my website using
http://www.domain.com/index.php?c=10 instead of
http://www.domain.com/sports

I see that images on the page are not being displayed.
Is it known bug?

I've never seen this, so it may be specific to you.
