Bug report: Adding categories

When adding categories (by using the new category link), the first category I add defaults to status 'active'. After having saved the first category, the form is cleaned up so I can add another category, but this time, the status defaults to 'inactive'. I think it should always default to the same, active or inactive, but not switch the default for the 2nd category I add.

This isn't a bug, it's just the way it's designed.

It would be nice if it did default to active though.

I can't follow your argumentation. Even if it was designed this way, it still could be a bug (design bug). And if it was designed this way, what would be the thought behind this design? If I start with a new phpld installation, there are no categories. So I'll usually have to add several categories for the new installation. Why would it be designed in way that only the first category I add is active and the others are inactive by default? That somehow doesn't make much sense to me.

Honestly I've never added multiple by hand to see this.
Though I just tested and you're totally correct, I don't know who made it this way, but yktan or I will have a look at it later.
