Default Center links in footer

I centered the links in the footer by going to footer.tpl and using <center> and </center> like so -

<span class="menuBottom"><center><a href="#"></a>
<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/submit.php{if !empty ($category.ID) and $category.ID > 0}?c={$category.ID}{/if}" title="{l}Submit your link to the directory{/l}">{l}Submit Link{/l}</a>
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/submit_article.php{if !empty ($category.ID) and $category.ID > 0}?c={$category.ID}{/if}" title="{l}Submit your article to the directory{/l}">{l}Submit Article{/l}</a>
{if ($smarty.const.REQUIRE_REGISTERED_USER == 1 || $smarty.const.REQUIRE_REGISTERED_USER_ARTICLE == 1) and !empty($regular_user_details)}
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/index.php?uid={$regular_user_details.ID}" title="{l}Browse personal links{/l}">{l}My links{/l}</a>
{/if}
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/index.php?list=latest" title="{l}Browse latest submitted links{/l}">{l}Latest Links{/l}</a>
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/index.php?list=latestarticles" title="{l}Browse latest articles{/l}">{l}Latest Articles{/l}</a>
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/index.php?list=top" title="{l}Browse most popular links{/l}">{l}Top Hits{/l}</a>
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/contact.php" title="{l}Contact directory owner{/l}">{l}Contact{/l}</a>
|<a href="{$smarty.const.DOC_ROOT}/search.php?type=advanced" title="{l}Go to advanced search page{/l}" accesskey="4" rel="nofollow">{l}Advanced Search{/l}</a></Center>

Hope it helps someone

Default Center alignment of bottom links

But...
you can use CSS!

In layout.css find

.menuBottom {
float:left;
width:928px;
text-align:right;
padding-top:5px;
}

and substitute it with

.menuBottom {
float:left;
width:928px;
text-align:center;
padding-top:5px;
}

BTW: nice work for the template!

I'm using it on my directory: http://directory.stille.it

Code:
Content visible to registered users only.

Thanks, very nice. I am using it on my first ever directory which is a directory of programming blogs (progblogs.com) not allowed to post live links yet. However, I noticed something on the left side bar, the second box that shows the number of links added, pending, etc, the title of that container was categories, similar to the category one above. Not sure if it was just me or something. So I edited left_side.tpl like so and replaced Categories with Statistics.

Code:
Content visible to registered users only.
One question, to add more block to the left side or right side to I have to hardcode the template files or is there an easy way to create blocks from the admin?

Thanks again for the beautiful theme.

Hello,
I also did made an upgrade form 3.2 cloudbuy to 3.3 with this template.
But I would like to change the categories alphabetical direction.
At the moment it looks like this
a d g
b e h
c f i
and I would like to change it to
a b c
d e f
g h i

Can someone help me to change it?

Thank you

Dirk

Make sure that you uploaded the right folder into your themes folder. The download folder, when you extract is, is named "bluetheme" and has two folders in it, "bluetheme" and "psd". The second "bluetheme" has two folders in it, "images" and "style", and some files. Make sure that it's this second bluetheme folder that you upload into your themes folder, otherwise your theme won't show.

Hope this helps.

It's a very nice template!

Has somebody an idea, how can I change the formating for the listing of subcategories on the main page? I would like to change the color and remove the underlines? I have already tried out a lot, but nothing has worked

I would be grateful for every help or advice.

And the part of the code you see below doesn't work

Code:
Content visible to registered users only.
And here is the part of main.tpl

Code:

open left_side.tpl
and then wherever you want the box add and edit it with your info

Code:
Content visible to registered users only.
