This is just a quick note about errors, especially when you get the 500 error where you have message that says there was a problem with the server and very little else available to help you solve it. Often these errors are related to the PHP problem where a function was depreciated on an Apache configuration issue.
The first thing you want to do at this point is see what you can do to get a hold of the error log. If you are running cPanel this is very easy. Simply logs into cPanel and there is a link there for error log. Take a look and see if you can locate any errors on the page where you just had the error, and also this can be very helpful if you need help from a developer or programmer. Providing the information you got from this log can help them solve the error more quickly and likely save you money!
