For all you affiliate marketers out there, he is a mod that has been requested many times. What this mod does is hide the affiliate link on mouseover on the detail page.  Instead, the url is yoursite.com/go/link-title-id.ext format. You will need to name the new field AFFURL, and instructions are provided with mod, and there is a discussion forum thread for license holders. This mod is fast an easy to install as mods go with just a few changes needed.

So if by using an affiliate pass through URL it is less obvious that you have an affiliate link. Another method you might want to consider is Viglink which is great if you want to automatically affiliate any products links on your site. This takes care of all the work and you automatically get paid even for links you didn’t even realize an affiliate program existed!
