Today’s spotlight is on the Naples Business Directory. First of all, it is a great local directory, and secondly, it is a great example of how phpLD can be integrated with a larger site. You will notice the Business tab is where phpLD is running, but then there are many other tabs for other destinations on the site. A quick look shows this site has over 11,000 business listings, so obviously a lot of effort has gone into making this a useful resource. A google site search shows they have nearly 50,000 pages indexed by google today, so they are surely getting some nice traffic as well.

Local directories are hot right now, and many people are not just profiting but making a living from local directories. It has been great seeing more and more people using phpLD for building their local directory and we plan to keep making that process easier and more powerful. Today’s example offers a great design, nice integration with other parts of the site, and a very complete and worthwhile destination. Great job!
