I would LOVE to get your feedback, ideas and questions on our recent changes. This is just the start, and once we go through a proper testing period, you will be able to see some of this technology rolled out to the phpLD script as well.

It makes a lot of sense but need to be applied differently to a regular phpLD directory scenario.
For example, we’re planning to build a directory with your script which will be a radical departure from the normal directory look and feel.
But our business is slightly different too.
For example, we plan to sell basic listings in our directory which will be a separate area on our site. We then plan to invite hand-selected listings to ‘upgrade’ and appear on our main site which will be powered by WordPress (non-automated, we manually create the listings).
For this they will need to pay a one-off admin fee.
The problem we have is how to enable hand-picked users to upgrade? My feeling is having a function in the admin which would allow us to place a link to upgrade in their listng area when they are logged in.
I wonder if your plans will allow this?
