A few years ago there were some mods released by mhamdi that were very popular including: Contextual Deep Links, Additional Fields, SEO Friendly Pages, phpLD Image Uploader Mod

Now most or all of these feeatures are a part of phpLD. If you happen to be running an older version of phpLD, then you may still want to visit the phpLD section of his blog. You may also want to consider upgrading to something like phpLD 4.1 which is feature rich and modern.
