This new mod adds a link to your browser toolbar. When viewing a page you want to add to your directory, simply click on the toolbar link, and you are automatically sent over to you “New Link” page in the admin panel with the fields pre-filled (title, url, etc).

Basically, when I’m surfing around and see a link I like, I just click one button in my toolbar, and I’m automatically taken to the add links page in admin with the fields pre-filled!

So if I see a link I like, I can add it to my directory in just a few seconds.

Taking this a step further (hopefully soon), we could allow people to have their own (editor) accounts, and run our own del.icio.us type site using phpLD.

Pretty cool, huh?

Note: As of this writing, this mod is still in Beta, but in my tests so far, it has been great.
