Amazingly, the list of mods available for phpLD version 5 is already past 10 on the day of release of phpLD 5.0. A big shout out to Bruleo who worked diligently to get his mods updated and ready for action!

Want to send advertisements embedded inside all the email you send out from your phpLD? Then try the Ads in Emails mod. What about having a nice report with more than 30 different items reported? Then what you need is the Advanced Directory Report mod which tells you all about members, active links, duplicate listings, database queries and much more! And an interesting addition is the Historical Events mod where you can display “this day in history” which can provide interesting facts for users and give them a reason to come back and visit later.

Finally, there has been a great deal of positive feedback in regards to the Custom Rejection mod which in version 5 is integrated fully with the Remote Reject/Approval mod. So in essence, it is two mods for the price of one for v5 users. Not only is it an extreme time saver, as you don’t have to log in to admin to Reject or Approve listings, it will also send out custom notices advising as to exactly why their submission was rejected….. all with a single click from the admin notification email!
