First, you will want to upload two new central widgets to your site:
1. Facebook Central Feed – this going to connect to a Facebook fan page on your homepage
2. Twitter on Main – This is going to show your twitter feed on your homepage
Upload these widgets and login to your admin panel and turn them on. You’ll probably want to go through the settings so you can connect them to your Facebook and Twitter accounts. If you don’t already have an account made especially for your directory on Twitter you might want to do that. For Facebook, you can simply create a new page without creating a whole new account.

And here is what is going to make this all tick…

You are going to sign up for a Hoot Suite account and connect to your Facebook and Twitter. Then you will be able to have Hoot Suite check your RSS feed of latest approved links and it will AUTOMATICALLY post the link and description to Facebook and Twitter (and probably won’t be long before you can do this in Google+ as well).

Finally, it’s up to you to let people know about the increased value they will be receiving when they list in your directory. Add text to your homepage about this. Add text on your submit page (maybe they pay more for the social benefit). Advertise your directory on webmaster forums or other places letting them know about the new benefits.
