We are happy to announce a number of great new features now implemented on this website. We’ve been working on these upgrades for the last couple of months, and hope these new enhancements will make your experience using this site even better than before.
1. User Account Synced – Now when you login to the forum, you will also be logged into your phpLD account too, so you can just click the Home link, and you will have access to all the features of your phpLD account.
2. Homepage for phpLD Users – If you are logged into your phpLD account, you will see a different homepage than if you are an unregistered user. It only makes sense that you would be more interested in things like the lastest news, templates, mods, and of course, your phpLD user area functions. So hopefully, now you will find the phpLD homepage more user friendly.
3. Improved Shopping Cart – Before the upgrade, it you wanted to purchase multiple items, you would need to purchase each one separately through paypal. Fortunately, now you can purchase everything you need with a single transaction, and save a lot of time.
4. Demo Improvements – Now the demo (available upon request) makes it a little easier to view all of the templates currently available for phpLD. And now it is much easier to directly link to a specific template in case you want to send the link to someone else.
5. Improvements to Content Area – Now it is much easier to view the content area. We have added many new features including bread crumb trail, statistics about the most popular items, and download links. For example, take a look at the template section.
6. Forum Upgrade – We have upgraded our forum to the latest version of vBulletin.
As always, thank you for your involvment with this site. We are here for you, and could not have reached this point without you. We hope that you will continue using our site, and our software, and also participate in our forums, as well as refer others to phpLD. And our promise to you is we will keep working to provide you with something better over time. You can look forward to seeing some products, and upgrades to existing products throughout 2008, and we hope you will be back soon to see what what we have done.
Thanks!
David and the phpLD Team
